Was told to post this in this sub forum.....

Hello, my fiance had her interview in the casablanca us consulate in January. She was approved. That same day, they called her saying she is missing a document. She sent it through aramex. Until now she still did not receive her passport and visa. When looking at the CEAC website, it still says "ready", which has been saying that since before her interview. On the ustraveldocs website, when she puts her passport number to track it, nothing shows up, it just says "There is no status update available for the passport number submitted"  Please can we get some advice or help on whats going on. Thanks.

Casa is a difficult consulate for some cases.  This sounds like normal administrative processing.  There is nothing to be done at this time.  Be aware that visas are not approved until all checks, reviews, and administrative processing is complete.  Casa cases can take several months or more to process.  After processing is complete, the visa will be issued, or the case case will be return to USCIS.  The fact that they still have her passport is a good sign....She should not take any action such as selling property, quitting jobs, or booking travel until the visa has been received and checked for errors.....good luck.

The Beneficiary being female is unusual, probably not a similar situation to the normal cases we see discussed on here. Does sound like standard AP.

AP even for a woman can last a long long time

Derik (VJ member) and originally from Morocco married a Fes woman

interviewed December 17th 2018 /  got her visa and came November 2019 because they made her do the ds5535

did she have to complete the new ds 5540 / that investigation takes time

good luck but be prepared to marry and go thru the CR1 if necessary
