Congratulations! Mine is happening in a couple days so I'm nervous but happy to hear success story like yours. What did they asked about your application? I mean we literally filled out our lives in the application forms and submitted tons of proofs, honestly there's little else that they didn't know about us lol.

Thank you:) After the civics, writing and reading tests,  she didn't ask me much. She only verified the information In the application and asked about my recent travels. She asked me where, how long,  and the purpose of the travels... She asked me if I file my taxes every year and that was about it. She didn't ask for any additional paperwork at all. Even though  I printed extra stuff. It was really fast,  that after my oath, it felt surreal. I even felt that I overprepared but it's ok, it is better to be overprepared than be not prepared at all. My advice  is, review your application thoroughly, she made a few changes on mine because she said I left one question blank but  as far as I remember (I filed online), I did not see that question.... but she asked me and I answered it (yes or no question, in part 12). You've got this! You can do it! :) After a looong wait and the anxiety that the pandemic brought upon me and this application process, I am so glad it is done!

Hi Everyone!

I’m kinda new here and just wanted to find out how the N400 is going for everybody and sort of compare it with my situation.

I filed N400 under the 5-year rule last March 20, 2020. It is an online filing with National Benefits Center as the service center and Jacksonville, Florida for the local office.

Since covid happened, everything has been so slow and dragging. Ive been getting the Estimated Completion Date up until August last year which has been completely been gone and not showing up anymore on my account. Now everytime I logged in and look at my case history it would just say “Invalid Case Date Was Received and A Receipt Notice was Emailed.”

I recently sent a request about “Outside of Processing Times” but USCIS replied back that it is still within the processing times and wait for 120 days before calling USCIS.

Should I be worried about this? Anybody on the same boat?

Did you get a Receipt Notice in the mail or even a biometric appointment letter?

I did get a Receipt Notice in email and in the mail. No biometric appointment yet since that receipt notice and it has been a year already.

My interview is tomorrow! For those who knows better than me, during the interview when they ask about the application, is it fine to look at my printed out application form to answer? I change jobs plenty of times during the years of trying to get a stable job so it's difficult to remember all the exact dates if they ask for it.

Also yes I'm anxious and probably overthinking things. Any reply will be highly appreciated!

Yes, I am filling N400 for 5 year rule. My local office is in Los Angeles.

I read your post above. Did you check if your bio has been reused? I saw some people reusing their bio, so they did not need to go to the bio appointment.

I believe your interview announcement will come soon. Your filing date is on March 20, 2020. It has been a year already.

I have not any notification about my bio being reused. I’m hoping it will be soon. I just hate this waiting game.

Los Angeles seems to be moving fast once you get an actual biometrics appointment. My field office was Los Angeles County and I got my "interview was scheduled" status only 4 days after the biometrics appointment. Congrats, you'll be completely done in ~6 weeks. 👍

Hello everyone, it's been a while since I've been here and seems like lots of people have had interviews, Congrats!

I have a question: has anyone logged into the myUSCIS account recently and not been able to view their Case Snapshot? I helped my cousin fill her application last year and she will be having an interview next month in New York City, I'm trying to help her print all of her documents but haven't been able to open the case snap shot, it gives me an error (see image below) Also, I noticed all of the documents we uploaded are not there any more and I know 100% for sure we did it last year when filing.

Any thoughts or experiences you have had on this can you kindly share?  Much appreciated.

I have the same thing going on too. I don’t even have any estimated completion date. Also when I pull up the case history it would say “Invalid Case date and notice of Receipt was emailed.” Not entirely sure what is going on but this is frustrating.

At long last, my journey have came to an end. I've passed my interview and took the oath right upstairs.

I went to the interview 15 mins early as allowed on the letter. Waited about an maybe 30-40 mins, there were like 10 people waiting at the waiting room before the officer called for me. The officer started right off with the civic test, reading and writing test, which is pretty quick (I studied everything to the T). Then the next part was asking me mostly about stuff that's already on my application. The only change she made was my job title (the online form didn't really gave much choice on job title selection) then made me sign it. We did some casual chatting as well, but probably to gauge how well my English is. In the end she said she approved me, and I am to take the oath upstairs, with three others like me. Just in nick of time too, I heard the lady who administer our oath wondered "why did they send them up, it's passed 2:30pm" (it was 2:35pm). All in all, it went smooth and relatively fast. Here's the dates if you are interested. You can go to my timeline to see my whole timeline for anyone's interested.

Interview Date: 2021-03-26 (letter appeared in my online account on Feb 19)

Good luck to everyone here!
