Hi,
I got married on July 02, 2017. I had my visa interview on September 05, 2018 and got my CR-1 visa issued on September 06, 2018. However, I walked in for visa interview of my nephew and consular officer kept my passport for further processing on case. We have been waiting for processing to complete since October 01, 2018. We have been married for 2 years, 7 months and 24 days till date. Recently, I got an email from embassy that my processing has been completed successfully and they asked me to submit updated Medical Examination report and recent visa photos. My question here is: Will I get CR1 or IR1 stamped and if not, what I need to do to get it changed? Thank you in advance for your guidance
Regards

You dont need to do anything. Since you will have been married for over 2 years when you enter the US , your GC will be unconditional. You will not have to “remove conditions” as those who enter before their 2nd anniversary do and need to apply for ROC after 2 years

I agree with @Lil bear, the OP does not have to do anything as the IR1 determination will be made at the POE.

Good Luck to the OP and hopefully the AP process will be short.
