After we thought we've completed the submission of all our doc at NVC since April, my wife just got an email from NVC customer service, asking her to submit her divorce doc to travel.state.gov/documents for quicker processing of our case.

The website she was asked to submit her divorce doc to isn't opening.

What do we?  Any info on how she can submit the doc?

Website is travel.state.gov/documents and it's says page not found

my question.

Is it possible for your visa to be issued and ready for pickup at the DHL office and yet no update or email to come pick it up? Has anyone or know anyone who has experienced such?

Please advise

I have done that several times but always get an automated reply nothing useful: below is what I just received few days ago.

Thank you for your inquiry – Please note that due to the COVID-19 Pandemic this e-mail box is not being monitored.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BELOW TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS:

GLOBAL SUSPENSION OF VISA SERVICES: In response to significant worldwide challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department of State has temporarily suspended routine visa services at all U.S. Embassies and Consulates. Embassies and consulates have canceled all routine immigrant and nonimmigrant visa appointments as of March 20, 2020, but will continue to provide emergency and mission-critical visa services as resources and local conditions allow.  We will resume routine visa services as soon as possible but are unable to provide a specific date at this time.  Please see these notices which contain detailed information about the current status of visa services worldwide and visa restrictions related to the COVID-19 global pandemic:

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/traveladvisories/ea/covid-19-visa-services-and-restrictions.html

EXPIRED IMMIGRANT VISAS: If you are an immigrant visa holder and you are contacting us because you have been unable to travel to the United States before your visa expired, please write to the Consulate after routine visa operations resume to explain why you were unable to travel before your visa expired. If a consular officer approves the issuance of a replacement visa based in your written justification, you will need to pay the appropriate IV application processing fee, submit a new medical examination report, and provide any other documents requested by a consular officer before a replacement visa can be issued.

PRIORITY IS AMERICAN CITIZEN SERVICES: Please note that the United States Embassy and Consulate in Nigeria’s current priority is assisting American citizens located in Nigeria. We do not know when visa interviews will resume, interviews will only be able to resume when the Department of State lifts the global suspension of visa services and when it is determined that the United States Embassy and Consulate in Nigeria can open safely.

SUSPENSION OF IMMIGRANT VISAS: On April 22, 2020 the President of the United States signed a Proclamation which suspends the entry of certain immigrants to the United States for a period of 60 days. Under the Proclamation, the Department of State temporarily will not issue immigrant visas, with certain exceptions as laid out in the Proclamation itself. The Proclamation is not retroactive. No valid visas will be revoked under this Proclamation. The full text of the presidential proclamation is available on the White House website at:  https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/proclamation-suspending-entry-immigrants-present-risk-u-s-labor-market-economic-recovery-following-covid-19-outbreak/

ALL VISA APPOINTMENTS CANCELLED:  The United States Embassy and Consulate in Nigeria have cancelled all routine immigrant and nonimmigrant visa appointments.

We will resume routine visa services as soon as possible but are unable to provide a specific date at this time.  At this time, U.S. Consulate in Lagos is continuing to process adoption cases and emergency visas on a case-by-case basis.  The MRV fee is valid and may be used for a visa application in the country where it was purchased within one year of the date of payment.

TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS DUE TO RECENT TRAVEL OR ILLNESS: Any individuals with pending consular appointments who (1) were physically present within a territory covered by the Presidential Proclamations, within the last 14 days, (2) are experiencing flu-like symptoms, or (3) believe they have may have been exposed to the novel coronavirus, are strongly encouraged to postpone their appointments by at least 14 days.  There is no fee to change an appointment and visa application fees are valid for one year in the country where the fee was paid. For questions about rescheduling a pending consular appointment, please send an email to support-nig

Which means that even when US embassy in Nigeria reopens. They would still not process immigrant visas which include CR1 visas until the ban is lifted. I advice everyone to be really patient because these are really fragile moments for everyone undergoing and visa category process especially in Nigeria as there are no head away yet regarding their reopening.
