Comments : I had my interview on 7th December, 2020.

I was asked the following questions

Who petitioned for you?

How did you meet?

Can i see you chat?

Does she have any kids? I told the CO we just had a baby

Can i see the birth certificate? showed her the birth certificate

Can i see your wife tax transcript or W2? Gave her W2

Can i see your school records and IDs? showed her

Then CO said she has everything she needs except my medical results to give me a waiver as a result of the presidential proclamation ban on Nigeria.

So she collected my passport, read my rights to me and gave me the waiver paper and told me once my medicals come good and my waiver approved, my visa will be issued, that this might take a few weeks.

Interview was about 10 mins.

So it was a success for me. Good luck to everyone else.

Hi - happy New Year. Has the consulate received your medical and issue the visa yet? Did they keep your passport? We are in the same situation- they said they didn’t have the medical but everything was good. They also kept the passport

Hi Mr & Mrs O, yes the CO kept my passport after my interview. On 18th December, the embassy responded to my case update inquiry via email informing me they had only just received my medicals from the clinic and have started processing my visa. However, i am still waiting for it to be issued. Regards.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
