It's interesting, because despite long being pro marijuana legalization, the pro marijuana people used to get on my case when I'd explain that smoking weed is still carcinogenic, and that just because it isn't cigarettes doesn't mean it's healthy or okay. 

 

But people don't really grasp when they're led on a leash by a lobby, the same way people were tricked by the cigarette lobby, they were tricked by the pro marijuana legalization lobby.

 

That being said, edibles are great, but people need to be prepared for it. I've witnessed too many situations that required medical attention because someone consumed excessively expecting a high like weed (within a few minutes) and when they finally absorbed it (15-60 minutes later), the intensity of the high caused so much of a panic there was no way to appease them but to call an ambulance as they thought they were going to die. Ironically, in doing so, causing a panic attack, can induce a heart attack.

 

Can only try and educate people, it's their choice if they want to think, or be a living experiment contributing to the education of others.
