Impeachment because the deep state is flustered.  

 

The professional bureaucrats on display in the House Intelligence Committee’s hearing this past week illustrate this, albeit through a glass darkly. If you listen carefully, Marie Yovanovitch, George Kent, William Taylor, Alexander Vindman, Fiona Hill, and David Holmes each have ordered their conduct by looking inward. The habits of the bureaucrat and the technocrat light their way. They talk of their credentials and long service in the bureaucracy, without a hint of a suspicion that such experience might be a cause of myopia.

 

They all—I don’t include Ambassador Gordon Sondland, who is not a career bureaucrat but rather a donor—said quite honestly that a policy based on the consensus of experts should be the end of their actions. Actions that do not accord with that consensus anger them. At one point, Fiona Hill acknowledged this, recollecting a wrathful confrontation she had with Sondland:

Trump see the bureaucrats like I do but not as insects but leeches. They are more of a hindrance than a partner in success and Trump gets excited about the ones that do the spade work, the actual ones that do the work that makes his visions a reality. The politicians are the ones that make the bureaucrats possible by making the laws and rules the bureaucrats need to exist so of course they are beholden to them and are deep staters who will protect their status quo. Of course they would have to hate Trump and of course us ones that do the spade work would love him.

Depending on Civil Service protections, it wouldn't be a bad idea to fire several (or many) of these clowns in key departments and agencies.

Virtually impossible.  They have to have a string of very bad performance or something VERY bad one time in order to be let go.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to just delete whole departments.

Not bad at all, if practicable.

 

Might solve the "entrenched uppity permanent personnel" issue by relocating entire departments/agencies elsewhere in the U.S., such the Dept. of Agriculture to Missouri or elsewhere in the Midwest.  We'd see how many of the snoots would be too snooty to relocate to flyover country.

Sign of the times that things that were long called conspiracy theories are being proven true, and how the narrative is changing from denial/ostracizing to cheerleading this deep state. Like I said in another thread, Trump seems to be the societal (and deep state) astringent that's putting the squeeze on these corrupt people. They see their influence waning, so they surface to sow chaos. The corrupt and those with ill intentions have gone from inconspicuous to transparent rather rapidly.

 

It's not to suggest Trump is clean, he's just not in the group of people that like to think they're in charge of things, ranging from picking the President, to running policies, and so on. People that very clearly need to be taken down several notches.
