Greetings from the Philippines. IR1 here.

I have been documentarily qualified and preparing documents for my upcoming visa interview at the US EMBASSY Manila. I found out that I had a few corrections to make on my DS260 but since I already submitted it, there's no way I can edit it.

I would like to ask fellow spouse visa applicants especially who just had their immigrant visa interview at the US Embassy in Manila, if is there anywhere at the Embassy I can have my DS260 corrected? Is it during the prescreening or before the prescreening?

Many thanks for those who will answer. God bless us all.

Are you talking about the CEAC website?

I made some errors and and didn't answer 4 questions by mistake and it was accepted and she past her interview last week and got her passport today. They never ask her anything about it (she's from Jamaica) and didn't say anything. Everyone have different luck with saying that, good luck. PS I couldn't edit it once I submitted it.

I apologise. I wanted to post that in the Philippines section but I did not know how to.

During the interview with the CO (after the pre-screener), if needed, the CO can correct the typos or oops in the DS-260.

Hi, did you have to include facebook account? I dont use facebook but messenger for family and friends and i dont even have my real name there. Should i give it to them? Im confused is it a requirement?

Also, did you submit w2 (those 2 small pieces of papers) and 1040 (one page) for the tax return?

That Facebook requirement was only added recently in the DS260. When I had to fill out my DS260 (March 2019) that question was not even there yet.

Documents under the petitioner should include either the FEDERAL INCOME TAX RETURN with all the schedules and W2 or the latest IRS TAX TRANSCRIPTS (No need for W2).

NVC strongly recommends submitting the latest IRS TAX TRANSCRIPTS. However, in my case, I submitted the FEDERAL INCOME TAX RETURN and still got approved

Thank you. How many pages did you submit? The reason im confused is because there are people who say they submitted just the one page of 1040 and also w2 tiny pieces of papers like 2 or 3 of those and got accepted by the nvc, however, during the interview we must bring the transcript.

My husband’s Federal Income Tax Return consists of 25 pages all.

If you want it safe, upload the IRS tax transcripts. It only consists 2-3 pages.

And yes the most recent tax return/transcript and W-2 is required:

EVIDENCE OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT. Applicants must provide evidence that they will not become public charges (that is, dependent on U.S. government welfare and assistance).  Form I-864 Affidavit of Support for visa applicants in the IR, F, certain E visa categories, and following-to join employment (E) applicants, complete with copies of the sponsor’s U.S. federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Forms W-2). The petitioner must provide an Affidavit of Support even if he/she has no income and even if a joint sponsor provides an Affidavit of Support reflecting sufficient funds to provide financial care. Download Form I-864 at http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis.

Form I-864EZ Affidavit of Support. A sponsor may use the shorter Form I-864EZ in place of Form I-864 if ALL of the following apply: -

The sponsor is the petitioner; - There is no need for a joint sponsor or a Form I-864A; -

The affidavit of support is filed for only one intending immigrant; -

The sponsor seeks to qualify based on his/her income alone (not on the basis of assets); and -

All sources of the sponsor’s income are shown on Form W-2.

Here is the link to the embassy requirements, complete all 5 steps.

~~    Gather all documents as listed in the DOCUMENT CHECKLIST  (STEP 5).  You may have provided these documents during the NVC processing but are still required, once more, for the interview process.

https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/family-based-immigration/the-interview/
Special Notice!!
In the embassy documents checklist (step 5) it lists the "CENOMAR (if applicable)" for those that are married the embassy will want the CEMAR (Advisory of Marriage, form 5) ... not having the CEMAR for the interview will cause delays and a 221g document request letter.
