Hey,

So i sent my AOS package on Saturday 5th of October express priority mail with signature waiver, arrived at Chicago post office 60680 on Tuesday 8th and since then available for pickup!

Advice on what should I do? Should i call uscis and ask about my package or should i try to resend it?

-Check is not cashed

Your inquiry is to the USPS not USCIS as it hasn't delivered.   Are you sure you sent without signature confirmation?

YMMV

Yes hundred percent without signature, i called USPS several times they say they did their job and uscis have to pick it up from the post office. So i really don't know whose fault it is and what should i do

You can try lockboxsupport@uscis.dhs.gov.   if you sent without signature confirmation it should automatically deliver without sending someone to the post office.   If I am not mistaken,  they only send someone once a week,  yesterday being a holiday they may send someone soon

YMMV

I sent my adjustment of status package to USCIS Chicago lockbox P.O box, it arrived on the 8th of October and since then it says "available for pick up at the post office" i went to USPS today, the lady told me that a return notice was generated so USPS is going to return it to me because uscis didn't pick it up! Is this normal?

Shouldn't USCIS pick up their mail regularly?

What on earth should I do, should i just wait until it comes back to me and resend it or what?

I am not worried that USCIS didn't send texts or emails! I am worried that they didn't pick it up & USPS are saying they will return it back to me as it has been "available for pickup" on USPS tracking more than a week. There is a big difference :)

The G1145 is text/email notification that it was received (ie. picked up) by USCIS---that's why the member above asked if you had sent that form as well, incase it's a matter of USPS not updating their own tracking...not a big difference :)

Another way to check if they received the package...look at your bank account and see if the check has been cashed.

It's possible the weekend/holiday slowed things down, however USPS is now generating a request on your behalf that it be sent back because you went in and inquired with them about it...so you will have to wait for that request to generate and the package sent back to you now.

If/when the package gets sent back, check it over to make sure of completeness, and then re-mail it.
