Country-specific thread is moved from General Immigration Discussion to the Philippines regional forum.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

We are in the nvc stage. And have resubmitted last required documents last month for a Cr1 . I hope I can determine when I can travel.

Can't tell you a timeline as that varies with each person.    You will get a case complete notice then a notice for your interview at the embassy from NVC

https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/family-based-immigration/the-interview/

Once you get your interview notice and your case file is at the embassy you can schedule to an earlier date ...

Earlier Appointment Scheduling
If you case file is already at USEM, you could schedule an earlier interview appointment.

"Immigrant Visa applicants who already have an interview appointment scheduled by the National Visa Center (NVC) should refrain from scheduling an earlier appointment through the Visa Information and Appointment Service Center without first checking to make sure Embassy Manila has the physical case file.  While we are happy to accommodate earlier appointments, we are only able to do so when we have already received the physical case file from the NVC. When the physical case file is either still with the NVC or in transit to Embassy Manila, we are unable to grant earlier appointment dates. This is because we need the physical case file to conduct an effective visa interview."

Scheduling the Interview:

By Calling (632) 548-8223, (632) 792-8988.  This service is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., except on Philippine and U.S. holidays. Callers may speak with an English-, Tagalog-, Ilocano-, or Cebuano-speaking operator.

Applicants, agents or petitioners calling from the United States may also use this service by calling (703) 520-2235.

Can anyone tell me how long it's been taking for the US manila Embassy to schedule a interview after it is approved.

I am waiting for this week to be over before I make a fuss with NVC
My NVC timeline has been.
Oct 1st DQ'd
Oct 2nd - Message that "interview was cancelled"

Oct 3rd DQ'd

Status shows it's still at NVC

I did request an expedite, got it with conditions but I know I can't schedule without it being at the embassy and status shows "Ready"

It's weird since most folks timelines I've seen get an interview letter 2-3 days after being DQ'D

Just to give a recent example of someone still waiting.

01/28/2019 - Mailed Express Mail USCIS Lockbox Phoenix

01/29/2019 - Received by Phoenix Lockbox
02/04/2019 - Receipt Notice Via Text Message assigned to Nebraska Service Center

We have the same situation. Actually our documents has been completed and accepted by NVC since July 15, 2019. October 1 - DS260 was re-opened, October 3 - DS260 submitted and was accepted automatically and October 4 - we received DQ notice - Until  now (October 17) we are still waiting for the interview date... :(

Congratulations! I am so happy for you and your wife. Wishing her all the best on Tuesday for her interview. Hoping and praying that they will give us the interview date at least,  so I can plan to file a leave and book my flight to Philippines soon as ticket is getting more expensive :(
