Hello, my fiance paid the visa fee. We were following the ustraveldocs website which said 14310 PHP. But the current exchange rate said it is equal to $277, which is $12 more than the $265 fee. This won't be an issue, will it? They are getting $12 more if anything. Thanks.

The exchange rate is set by the embassy and is always more than the current market rate.

YMMV

So it's fine. Thank you. Instead of having to make another topic, could someone tell me why my fiance's ustraveldocs profile isn't working? She made an account with the email address used on her ds-160. Then she tried uploading her passport, which said successful upload. But it still asks for her to upload a passport every time she logs in and she can't do anything else but logout. Why is this?

The amount to pay is printed right on the DEPOSIT SLIP that you MUST print out and take to BPI.  Doesn't matter what the exchange is shown as for the "market" you pay what is printed on the deposit slip.  The payment must be made before the expiration date on the deposit slip, if that has expired print a NEW deposit slip

As for the profile with ustraveldocs, you could try a different web browser .. sometimes that fixes the issue.

I see VJ was down again.  May want to keep this in your bookmarks:  https://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/contact.html

Payment to BPI is to made in the amount printed on the deposit slip, no matter.

Which is based on the periodic rate established by the embassy.  Not sure their was any confusion but thanks for the clarification

She uploaded her passport, which was successful, on Friday. is ot possible she has to wait until Monday to have full access to her account?

Not sure what the issue is unless the photo/scan was of a wrong file size.   You will have to wait until Tuesday to contact ustraveldocs or the embassy (Monday is a holiday).

No matter what day or time of day, should the upload (successful upload of course) and after, have full access to the profile, should be instant? Or does someone ever have to wait a few minutes? Should we try uploading  the passport again and try to cut out any unnecessary edges?

Now that I think on this some, I don't recall the online profile setup asking to upload a photo of the bio page of the passport.  And when I look through my info on setting up the profile/dashboard I see nothing asking for this.

I do know the DS-160 asks for a 2X2 passport photo be uploaded.   But the DS-160 is not required for scheduling an interview with the Immigrant Visa Unit ... that is a non-immigrant visa requirement

This is what she sees when she logs in. 20190831_122012.thumb.jpg.833d14c4cb34e9c2ff256ee77e8f22eb.jpg

WRONG site!  That is for NON-immigrant visa ... K-1 must be scheduled with the Immigrant Visa Unit.

Yowser!! Im glad we got through that one.

With how the K1 visa is process you should always try both "immigrant " and "non-immigrant". You just never know which will work.
