Please listen and heed what i am about to say as i have heard these stories before

Example a moroccan friend was waiting for his USC gf to come to morocco

she sent a "supposely ticket to show him"  a flight from Nashville direct to casa /  there is no such flight and we don't get  a ticket anymore

we get a boarding pass with flight #,  seat # and gate to board /  her fake ticket had none of those

and he made the 4 hour trip to casa and waited for her

she never made it and blocked him on all media

your gf does not want to go to Atlanta for a visa

she is stressed at the thought of a big trip ?  how will she come to Nigeria???

she is insecure in the relationship as you say yourself

she does not want to join here to see what needs to be done for nigerian visa or US visa for you????

you are trying to do all the work

you can't

she has to do a nigerian visa herself

she would have to do all the paperwork to marry there

she would have to do all the paperwork for a CR1 visa

and it doesn't sound she is willing to do all this

we are sympaththeic to your problem but if she is unwilling to find out and work on this. with you.   the relationship ????

i am not saying that you 2 don't love but

but for us USC we hear from family and friends that we are being used for a green card or worse being scammed

and we find out we have to make several trips (high fraud countries) and it gets expensive

and we find out that immigration does not guarantee the visa

it is not cheap

it is not fast

it is not easy

it is not always fair

this is what she is hearing and seeing

so, leave it to her to do the needed work

don't push her to do what she can' not do

Thank you....i understand

I wasn't pushing her....i was just concerned about my fiancee going through stress just like a husband should feel for his wife.

I don't want to hear more negative things and that's why i was yelling, stopped replying some comments so y'all know i got your point,i was only trying to correct some people who got me wrong but y'all felt i wasn't listening.

Its kinda hard expressing ones feelings through text anyways....

Thank you Jeanne .

I think you should convince her to open an account here.......it will help her during the journey...

Even from Miami (about the lowest city in Florida) is round trip for $92 and cheaper than driving

plus can fly early morning and interview and fly back that night

so,  no issue

unless your gf is saying she can't do it as it is too stressful on her

and then,  she would be making excuses as why she can't get a visa

You don't know her situation...so don't talk about her that way,she has kids that she look out for and i understand her situation. She lives in Jacksonville, wouldn't be wise for her to drive 5 hours to Miami to catch a cheap flight....she would just drive down to ATL.

Thank you Jeanne .

she better be prepared for a lot of stress if you guys intend to follow thru with a  CR1

it can break down a relationship

as i said before,  immigration does not care about your feelings

this process is a nightmare at times

I took the furthest Florida city to show you it is cheap to fly

I live in Tennessee and race once a month doing a Solo II on a alternate space shuttle landing site.

Jacksonville is a lot closer to Atlanta than Miami

4 h 55 min (345.8 mi) via I-75 N  to Atlanta from Jacksonville  not 11 as i can drive to Miami  in 12 hours from a more northern state

I need to tell you "do not press her to do anything right now as a major hurricane is headed for Florida

She should not travel to Atlanta now by car or be online talking

she needs to get ready for a bad storm with heavy heavy rains and big winds

she probably will be without electricity when the gets here and for maybe a week or more after

this all depends on where this hurricane lands in Florida but this is a major 3 hurricane

All of Florida is preparing for this and she may even have to go with her kids to a shelter

so  be patient now with her as she needs to be safe
