I got my NOA 2 on july 17, I called the NVC last week and they said they got my stuff on august 8.

They provided me the NVC tracking number which current says "At NVC" and for me to do the following:

"Please follow the instructions you received from the National Visa Center (NVC) that list the six steps you must take before NVC can schedule your visa interview appointment. This includes submitting to NVC various fees, forms and documents. Once NVC has received all the required items, they will let you know if anything is missing or incomplete. You can also find these instructions online at http://nvc.state.gov (English) and http://nvc.state.gov/espanol (Spanish). You will find contact information for NVC at http://nvc.state.gov/ask. "

I don't see these instructions listed in our guide. Is this some form they will send me later because I checked my mail today and there is nothing? Do I have to do anything at this time besides prepare my financial documents?

I am just worried if I don't pay the fee right now they won't process anything and stay at limbo but I can't pay without the invoice...

Nothing to do right now but wait for NVC to send your petition to your beneficiary’s embassy, if your case number got assigned on 08/08 then it should change to “in transit” this Tuesday. Nothing to pay here for K1 Visas NVC just assign case nr. and transfer to embassies nothing else 👍🏼

Those instructions do not apply to K-1 visas......They apply to Cr-1/IR-1 cases.....
