Hello,

I was reading a bit about I-864a, would that allow me to pool my income with my parents if I live in the same household as them? Neither of us qualify by ourselves.

Currently I would have to claim household of 5, me, my wife immigrating, and 3 children. That puts the requirement at $37,712 i think. So if i added my parents income to my own would i have to claim 7 instead or would our income just pool together since we live in same house? Thanks!

Yeah household size will be 7 and you combine your income with your parents income for total annual household income.

Your income is "combined" AND the household is 7.  In this case, you provide an I-864 and each of your parents provides an I-864a.
