Calling USCIS to get more info about EAD/AP

Hi everyone!

I has been almost 5 months since i applied for EAD/AP (k1 visa).

I am trying to reach someone on the phone when i call USCIS and ask them about my status , but nothing. Can someone tell me is it helpful to call them and which number should i press when i call USCIS  to ask for more information about my case. Thank you

No it's not helpful calling, you're still within normal processing times. Count on it taking 8 months, be happy if it gets approved faster than that.

In the AOS subforum there's a thread for each month, have you joined the thread for the month you filed for AOS? You'll be able to see other people's cases who filed at the same time as you, I bet you're not the only one still waiting for their EAD/AP. Take a look if you haven't already.

You can sign up and check for status here: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

We got approved little over 6 month with RFE in CA service center. Good luck.

We haven't received a receipt # or NOA for the 485. Will this # be on the NOA?
