Casablanca consulat

Hi guys

 

does anybody know what’s goig on with Casablanca consulat in morocco? Are they having troubles wit issuing visas???

  What visa? Need little more info about time line and all to even begin to give advice.

Ir1 type interview 25 April visa approved it was ap for a month after approval now status says ready

Steps at casa  and all this depends on the person imputing the data

1.  ready -ready for interview

2.  AP -after interview to verify documents

3.  ready_  visa being processed /it can go back into AP again (sometimes does/ sometimes doesn't)

4.  Issued -can take several weeks after you see this for Aramex to actually have the passport and visa

 

BTW  the casa embassy is backlogged for all interview appointments except tourist

and after the 2017 ds 5535 came out,  they issued the form to anyone living in Fes or north of Fes.  So,  now they are doing security checks on these as some have been waiting a year for this process to complete 

This all has slowed the embassy down

on top of them loosing electric and computers on any given day during this heat

didn't say you did

said the consulate is backed up with work doing these security checks on others who have gotten them

Casa seems to be holding the AP process up 

it has slowed to a crawl
