Hello Friends,

I have a question please regarding the form I-130 and I-485. I am citizen and filling the GC for my mother, Which the Alien Registration number should I put on the forms? Is the one on  her I-94 or mine that I used for my GC years ago?

Thank you in advance!

 Bless you all!

Once you submit the paperwork and you get the receipts (notice of action noa), she will be assigned one, otherwise you can leave that blank or wrote n/a 🍀

Wherever it is asking for your A# put yours,  where it’s asking for you mom’s put hers if she has one, if she doesn’t have one, no need. I-94 number is not the A#.

You need to look at the purpose of the question each time. Is it in a section asking about the petitioner ... you .. so put your number from when you were LPR ... or is it a question addressing the beneficiary ... your mother ..  if it’s addressing her put n/a or leave blank as she  does not have an A number at this time

Thank you for the respond. In the form I-485, at the first page where it says start here...….... Should I keep it blank or write my USCIs Registration number when I was LPR?

Thank you!!

I485 is for the applicant and you are not the applicant, so definitely not your A#.

Read instructions and guides very carefully first. If you are asking this even after responding to your questions, it’s highly likely you will make tons of mistakes.

Another Questions Please, How much for each form? Should I pay for both forms by using one check?

Thank you!

I really suggest you read i130 and i485 instructions first line by line and the guides in this forum. It is recommended to put two checks.

From instructions:

I130: $535

i485 + biometrics (if you mom is under 79): $1140+$85
