VAWA Benefits [edited title]

Hello guys I received prima facie few months ago and I don’t know how to use it,which angency or office should I go thanks

I have a prima facie from wava and they says I can use it for public benefits,so I don’t know how to use it cause I called the hotline number on the letter,and they says they don’t deal with benefits.

I got a letter from uscis about prima facie and they say I can use it for public benefit,so am I taking the letter to social security or court or government agency,I just need help on how to use it to get assistance that’s all

Why social security?  You won’t qualify for that.

What kind of assistance are you seeking?  legal help? Money?

I would imagine you would qualify for things like food stamps, and maybe some type of financial or legal help, but def not something like social security. And it's only good for 150 days.


I'm assuming the OP doesn't know what kind of assistance is available to him/her.

OP received the document "a few months ago".........time for it is short......or expired.

Oh lord, I missed that.

Yeah. According to the USCIS website it's only good for 150 days. I'd assume this is because you most likely would need immediate benefits after being in the situation, but they believe you could probably start getting on your feet by 5 months.

Agree.......Maybe OP is on a fishing expedition to see what is available.......
