Mumbai Consulate - Any recent "IR" interviews/interview scheduled?

In the same boat, CC on May 14'th , still waiting on IL at Mumbai counsulate for an interview. NVC has the standard answer - there is no timeframe . Anyone else got an IL ?

@GCparnts - I’m waiting since late April. i don’t think any May candidates (by “May candidate” I mean people who got their CC in May) have got any IVs yet.

 

If you read this thread, you’ll see a post re: dates when they Mumbai consulate releases IVs. The June date was ~21st; I have no idea when the July date will be but I suspect (hope) it will be in 7-10 days after 15th. Let’s hope all the remaining April and most of May candidates gets their IVs when Mumbai releases their IV invites on their July date.

Thats good info , thank you! So around last week of July,  we can hope that the August IL's come in. I may/may not be on the Aug list with May 14'th/15'th CC date .

They have started giving out August Dates.

I think they gave August dates to other countries except India , Pakistan , Nd Bangladesh

Ok, but the NVC rep did tell me that they started scheduling appointments for Mumbai.

When August interview date me are being set does this mean all those who are waiting with CCs in April and May will get ILs or how does it usually work? My CC is at the very end of May- and was wondering if i should just prepare for a Sept interview date ? Although ofcourse I would love an August one

When I called NVC last week they mentioned that they have already scheduled August interviews.

Sorry, last time when I called I just asked generally. Today I asked specifically for Mumbai consulate. They are still scheduling for August for Mumbai Consulate. I asked for the cutoff dates but they said it is internal and can't be revealed.

It is clear that they are prioritizing some category but we do not know which one. Probably they are doing it because it is last quarter.

THank @ram_shan for the update. Yes, been a frustrating & long wait since late April in IR-5. Will share an update if we get an IL 😕 It’s been radio silent so far
