Indianapolis field office - processing time after I485 changes to "Your case is ready to be scheduled for an interview"

Hi fellow members, 

 

I wanted to check with members whose cases have been handled by the Indianapolis field office.

 

On May 22, 2019 my case status changed saying that the interview is ready to be scheduled.

 

Can you let me know how long did it take for you for the interview to be scheduled, once the case status got changed to the above status?

Hi,

 

We applied for I765, I131 along with my I-485 after we got married. We applied it on Apr 16, 2019. 

 

My question is for folks who have their cases processed by Indianapolis field office. 

 

How long did it take to get your I-131 and I-765?

 

Also did you guys get your I-485 first, so that you dont need the I-1131 and I-765 any more?

The reason I am asking is that I really wanted to go to my dad's 60th birthday and retirement on June 25th and the advance parole is still in processing

Ah ok, dint use that feature. Thank you for letting me know. I think I need to expedite my AP processing. Can anyone share their succesful stories? I put in a request with USCIS to expedited based on humanitarian reasons. Can you also let me know how long did it take for you guys to receive the AP once it was approved?

Once approved, it usually arrives within a couple weeks.

 

You are free to apply for an expedite at any time. A birthday/retirement party is not up there in likelihood of approval.

10/14/17: Biometrics appointment notice received, 10/25/17: Biometrics

1/2/18: EAD + AP approved (no website update), 1/5/18: EAD + AP mailed, 1/8/18: EAD + AP approval notice hardcopies received, 1/10/18: EAD + AP received

9/5/18: Interview scheduled notice, 10/17/18: Interview

10/24/18: Green card produced notice, 10/25/18: Formal approval, 10/31/18: Green card received

K-1:

12/1/16: sent, 12/14/16: NOA1 hard copy received, 3/10/17: RFE (IMB verification), 3/22/17: RFE response received

4/6/2017: Received, 4/12/2017: Sent to Riyadh embassy, 4/16/2017: Case received at Riyadh embassy, 4/21/2017: Request case transfer to Manila, approved 4/24/2017

 

K-1

5/1/2017: Case received by Manila (1 week embassy transfer??? Lucky~)

7/13/2017: Interview: APPROVED!!!

7/19/2017: Visa in hand

8/15/2017: POE
