Follow the instructions. You may not be asked for any or all of the documents, but it is advisable to take all documents listed on the letter. Also, it depends on your situation you may need to take additional proof to bolster your case.

Good luck with your interview. Remember to come back and give us an update.

Yeah you should take everything that is listed and you need to take the originals. When you go into the office they have your packet of what you submitted in front of them, but they do ask to see originals sometimes. Our clients take a folder with them with original copies , and we usually photocopy the whole AOS packet before we send it and then have a copy of it at the interview.

We do tell clients sometimes to take extra items if we feel they need extra things to bolster their case. For example, If AOS through spouse  and AOS was submitted with Family petition we usually tell clients to take some more updates documents that have both their names on it especially if have no kids. Doesn’t hurt at all.

We took everything they asked for. Originals and copies. However, they didn't ask for almost anything and none of the copies. However, I know that's not the case for a lot of people. So bring all originals and copies. It really varies from officer to officer! So we ended up showing up with 3 folders of evidence 🤷‍♀️ Even though we didn't have to show much, it's better safe than sorry!

We took the statement  about immigration evidence on the appointment form quite literally. As a consequence, we brought with us every single shred of paper that we had accumulated since starting our immigration journey. It was a good thing. The IO asked to see the original of my divorce decree (I had sent a copy in with my original K1 visa petition, from oh so long ago!). Luckily, I was able to show him the original and a color laser printed copy (for comparison) and offered the copy for his file. I realized he could have asked to anything, but we were prepared, and did not want a RFE.

YMMV

Good luck on your immigration journey.
