CO workload

I read a post recently claiming that COs reviewing K1 petitions complete their reviews at the rate of "several per man hour".   Does anyone know the source of this info?  It seems to me if this were true the wait times would be much shorter.  For example, if "several" were only 3 petitions per hour a single CO could complete nearly 500 petitions in a 20 day work month (3x8x20=480).  Did I misunderstand something?

it may average out to that. you can get a bunch in a row that are quick and easy, like ours are. then one you get hung up on for quite some time 

 

they get done with yours (Which is ever anyone's only concern) when they get done with it. sit down, take a number and prepare to wait.

for morocco alone   in April there were 1,316 non immigrant visas approved (1,132 B1 alone)

32 K1 ( they interview these one every 15 minutes from 8 am to 12 noon -80 a week not even doing 4.3 weeks a month)

 

these are just the approvals and getting approved is hard 

 

so,  just the approved 1316 for your 20 day work week means 65 a day (non immigrant only)

add the denied and immigrant 

and you can see they review a he--l of of a lot more than anyone thinks

It's an interesting document but it claims exactly the opposite of the post I remember.  According to this document a CO spends 1.31 hours on each I-129F.  Hardly "multiple per worker hour".  BTW, I spent some time around Nike Hercules while in the Army.
