If you were not in touch with NVC once a year since the petition was approved, the petition is considered abandoned and you have to start all over again with I-130.

Why isn’t your wife on here asking these questions?

An important part of immigrating is knowing the visa process, the steps to take and how it can end. Your petitioner should be 100% involved in it if she wants it to succeed.

Anwar , tell your wife to call the NVC to confirm about her case and proceed forward , if there is anything wrong about that delay , the NVC will let her know how to process it .

Wishing you all the best my brother !!!
