I have been waiting patiently. It’s very stressful though. I don’t know is it normal waiting 7 months for IL? My case cc since mid feb, it is over 7 months now. 

They just sent out IL for October, we might have to wait for next month. 

Hope hope hope we will get it next month.

I hear it's 1st in first out so that must not be the case if some are waiting less time than others. I wonder do the interview dates still depend on the type of visa? Like is there still the priority factor based on Visa category?

Yea supposed to be but we have one in our group who got CC January and they only gave her interview letter last july for an Aug interview. There were more people who got CC after her and done with interview and moved to the US already before spring/summer. 

Idk about other categories but in the website they say that USC spouses wont have to wait for interview since we are always current but they stopped for few months. The April-May 28 CC on our list just got their interview letter last week for Oct. That is 5mos or more for others. It is hard to predict again next month if they will schedule us or not.

That does make it hard to predict. seems like you really can't know. But by interview stage everyone should be current or they wouldn't get a CC I would think. Plus I am sure closer to Christmas it will slow down a bit. 

 

We are an F3. Adult children or US citizen. we got CC July 26th so I don't expect we'll hear anything till early next year maybe. 

 

It is a little helpful to see when others getting there's. At least you know a minimum wait time kind of. 

 

Hopefully you hear something soon!

I'm an F3. It's hard to find F categories at all here for threads especially for Canada.

Start a new post like what I did. Soon people will start to message or reply to you. It was hard for me to find people for Montreal for CR1/IR1 months ago when I first started here. I created a thread and people found it. Now I have over 50 people in our private group message. It really helps a lot with updates (interview) and questions in every step. 

 

*I think I’ve read some F category posting comments here.

Will this group of people keep actively posting here after their IL dates? Just curious as I'm waiting for approval but would love to hear how things went.

 

Spouse and I are both in Canada and I know a hot topic is Montreal's ruling on intent to re-establish domicile, so I'd really like to hear from people in the same situation. We have a young child, so we'd really like to minimize the time spent apart. 

 

Also, curious to know if a job letter for a start date in the future within family's company is likely satisfactory or if you're needing to show paystubs already. I'd rather wait till we're both there to start working so we can care for our child.

Anyways, glad I found this thread and hopefully all those with interviews next month let us know how things go.
