USCIS will shift loads of N-400 from office to office to make processing time more equal. This may require applicants to have interviews in offices not the closest to them

This is good news for some of us who currently have very long waiting time, like Miami and Atlanta

First time posting in this thread. We had are biometrics this morning so we are one step closer.

I have seen many of you posting that you are uploading bank statements and tax returns etc. None of those were required when I filled out the "online" form through USCIS. Completed the required questions, paid the fee and submitted everything. Within 48 hours received confirmation that it had been accepted. 10 days letter received our appointment letter for biometrics which were finished this morning. To this day no request for the documents that you are saying you submitted.

Can anyone shed some light on this because I don't have an answer to what the difference is.

Really looking forward to this! Miami field office is 13.5 to 25.5 but Hialeah which is not far from me is 7 to 11.5 months according to USCIS.

My completion time is 16 Months but I would go to Orlando if that cut my processing time in half. 😁😁😁

I’m also doing online filing but if you don’t upload the requested evidence it won’t let you click next unless you fix the errors (which I assume is for the documents to be uploaded).

Applicants typically upload bank statements and tax return etc as part of evidence about marriage if applying under 3 years rule

I do not think the time passed matter., If you are applying based on marriage ( 3 years minimum since marriage or longer )  you will need to submit evidence related to your marriage. If applying based on other reason, my guess USCIS would  not care about your marriage.

We've just completed the online application (haven't submitted, yet), based on 3-yrs marriage and residency, a few minutes ago. There was one page for uploading documents under different categories: USC spouse proof of citizenship, taxes, name change, evidence of marriage, additional evidence. Depending on your filing category (3-yr, 5-yr, Other) I'd imagine the requested evidence to be uploaded might differ; although taxes should be there for all categories.

We're hoping to officially join this thread in a few days, as my wife should be receiving her 10-yr card soon. We got notification of her I-751 approval last week (YAY!), but we're waiting to submit the N400 application until after her card arrives. The online application is completed and ready to go; we just have to review, pay and submit. I've never been so eager to make a $725 payment...that didn't result in a new guitar.

Hi everyone!

i just applied my N400 online (while my I-751 is pending) last June 17.

I attached a scanned copy of my greencard as an evidence but I forgot to attached a copy of my green card extension letter.

Would it affect my application in anyway?

Thank you

My guess, no. If they needed it before the interview they would send you request for evidence. But the simplest solution is to log on to your account, click on tab “Documents” then upload it instead of waiting. You can always upload more documents from this tab. Try it.
