Yeah I ordered it thru PSA website and had it shipped priority via fedex. Sometimes they ship fast via regular philpost. Sometimes they dont. Since my interview date is in about a month i opted to go priority. I have 2 PSA ones already but i read somewhere might need 3 so i just went and ordered anyway

We need three copies for interview? Like three original? When is your interview date? Thank you

There was one time I got it in 3-4 weeks' time. That was fast for me considering it usually takes them 3 months.

I have been waiting since August for 2 that were sent through Philpost.

I’m asking a family member and authorizing them to get me PSA BC. I think this will be the fastest way for me. So do we really need 3 copies? Thank you

Wow that is crazy! So sorry you have to wait that long. I’m actually not sure. Read from some accounts that we need 3 but in the packet 3 it doesnt specify. So Im bringing 3 just to be safe.

No, 1 copy is fine. But we lost that one so I ordered 2 more just in case. You do not have to ask a family member to get it for you. Just use the website and Fedex and you will get it within a week.

I tried putting my info there but it’s asking for a Philippine cellphone number. Is this correct? So I tried using my sister’s cp number and then typed in 2 copies but it’s not letting me

Thanks! When is your interview date? Please update us after if they reject the NSO. Also, what birth cert did you upload at CEAC that they accepted, NSO or PSA? Thank you

July 10. Will do but I may not bring the NSO. I dont think I needed to upload a birth cert to CEAC. Just submitted NSO for i129f application. Are you K1?

Nope. I’m CR1. I uploaded NSO birth certificate April 1 and they accepted it on CEAC. I just came across your post. I am not even aware they changed NSO to PSA lol! I will still request for a PSA birth cert to be sure

You don't need 3 PSA copies for the interview, one copy is fine.  It is just suggested that you get extras and keep them for future needs.

You may be just fine with the NSO birth certificate, in most situations it is quite acceptable, but for the U.S. embassy in Manila they want for the newer PSA BC.   The U.S. embassy in Canada may not care.   Don't know.

And this is why I thought i should be kept in the Canada forum because it may have different requirements than the embassy in the Philippines. But they moved my post to the Philippines forum

Hey you can join and ask Montreal group for K1. I’ve been following them even if I’m applying for CR1. But if you have both, just bring both. I’m grateful I read your post coz I will be going there with my old NSO birth cert. Didnt know there is PSA version since they accepted my NSO but requested  PSA now to be sure.
