ِA glitch?? And it costs you 3 weeks! That is unfair to say the least. I wonder how many more people had this happen? I am glad you were able to at least get information on it but it is a shame that because you updated it you are no longer in the queue for an interview. I hope it all goes well for you and your family. The original documents we uploaded haven't even been reviewed yet so we are contemplating if we should upload the new request or not. I don't think it will set us back but I wonder if the Embassy will even look at our file if they see something is 'Missing' even if it was a glitch?

It would be nice if they fixed the glitch

Wait for the three weeks before you upload anything else!  Any upload will start the three weeks over again.

This has happened to a lot of people.  It is what it is.  The smart ones contacted NVC before uploading.

Honestly, while the additional time is tough to swallow, I was able to get everybody on the same schedule.  I have the thank the nice woman from NVC.  Before my wife was DQ, my step daughter was all accepted but no DQ and my step son needed additional paperwork.  The woman told me to upload that same paperwork to my step daughter's account even though they didn't ask for it.  It was just a copy of our marriage certificate.  By doing that, all of them are back in sync and due to be reviewed on or about June 3.  All told, I'd rather know than not know.  Even bad news is news.  WE are good and there is a feeling of relief right now because I know exactly where all petitions are status wise.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

Ok that is good advice. Thank you so much. It is only my husband and I so luckily we didn't have not coordinate timing with other applications- but who knows- by the time this is all finally done there might be a baby to file for. hahaha

Hopefully before that baby turn 21!  LOL  This seems so slow but honestly it is really fast.  Last year our K-1 was 10 months at USCIS.  This one only took 4 there.

That is great! I just read from someone else who had this happened that the additional requirements was a 'glitch' in the system. See above responses for a better explanation.

I guess there was a glitch in the system...

👏👏👍

The initial phase with the I-130 was basically right on schedule for us then when it was expedited at the NVC stage the Embassy in Jerusalem was quick with responding etc but now since we had to transfer to Cairo it is a different story. Cairo initially told us to upload our documents then we got an email saying to send them via courier (which we did) then they called us to ask why we sent them. LOL It wouldn't be too bad but they told us they opened the sealed medical exam by mistake. When it was all returned to us they left the chest x-ray CD out of the medical envelope which they closed crudely with staples and included it with the rest of the documents we had sent. I just sent a 'what to do' email to them because we really don't want to get to the interview and have it rejected because of their mistake.
