Did any body here got a USPS tracking number when their GC was mailed out? 😁

Still waiting for mine to go to "Sent' status. I don't expect any tracking number. I have never received a single text or email through this entire process, even though I have checked and triple checked that I am signed up for both.  I'll let you know if I get anything though.

Thanks to all those who replied about my question re: usps tracking. I just got a notification w tracking number so I guess it is still the same process when we had our first GC. Hopefully all goes well and I’ll get it on Thursday. Thanks y’all. 😁

Hi All,

i think I was the first April filer to get an approval. Just some small updates.. on 6/19 I got the update that my card was in production. A couple days after that I got that my card was sent. Then today I received a notification with tracking info. My card should be in my mailbox on Thursday! Woo!!

Hi there, I'm early April Filer to VSC, my case was transferred to the black hole (TSC) back in March. So I'm thinking to file N400 while I-751 is pending, does anybody have an experience of doing that? Any potential complications?

There is a potential delay with the I751 still pending.

It may still be a good move for you. We were ready to submit our N400 on Wednesday if we didn't see movement on our case and on the Monday the status updated to Approved.

It's a bad idea to file now if you are planning any trips out of the country or are anxious to get that 10 year GC without delay.

On the other hand, we are enjoying taking our vacations and any trips in the US and have no plans to travel outside of the country for the foreseeable future and as our ultimate goal is to have all of us with the same citizenship and living together as a family without constantly having to update things, mark dates for renewals and keep paying fees - you get the picture  .... we were willing to take the chance of the additional delay.

They will not process your N400 until your I 751 is approved. Often there is a combo interview for both cases, but this doesn't work out as well for everyone and it can be anything from a moderate to lengthy delay in getting your 10 year greencard. There is a thread on this forum on Combo filing.  Lots of different experiences shared on there.

Thank you, that's helpful. I don't worry about travel nor need my card. I thought it might get the ball rolling but I guess I might have to review the thread first.

I think applying N400 when I-751 pending makes I-751 more complicated i think. not sure on that still checking for better answers

From what I can see, reading others' posts, in a way, yes. Again, it depends which part of the process is more urgent for you.

I think overall the entire process from filing the I 751 to getting your N400 approved is shorter for most people than if they did each one separately. But there are always outliers in every case and as with anything USCIS related, nothing sticks to a particular rule.
