Help!! Tax return transcript does not show amended "filing Status"

So I filed my taxes early this year and upon poor advise filed "single". As soon as I discovered this was incorrect, I amended my tax return to show Married, filing separately (NRA). The problem is the now the Tax Return Transcript will not update the filing status. I called the IRS and they said it shows the change of filing status in the "Record of Account Transcript" and that the Tax  Return Transcript will never be updated. When I do my I-864EZ it requires the Tax ReturnTranscript...so what do I do! Is there somewhere on the CEAC that I can add the other document showing married?

Send both the Return transcript and the account transcript.

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

August 7, 2022: Wife filed N-400 Online under 5 year rule.

November 10, 2022: Received "Interview is scheduled" letter.

December 12, 2022:  Received email from Dallas office informing me (spouse) to be there for combo interview.

December 14, 2022: Combo Interview for I-751 and N-400 Conducted.

January 26, 2023: Wife's Oath Ceremony completed at the Plano Event Center, Plano, Texas!!!😁

February 6, 2023: Wife's Passport Application submitted in Dallas, Texas.

March 21, 2023:   Wife's Passport Delivered!!!!

May 15, 2023 (about):  Naturalization Certificate returned from Passport agency!!

 

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

I have not seen a case where incorrect tax filing status caused any issues.....that is an IRS issue...not an immigration issue.

I filled MFS and sent my return to IRS and they never processed my return and updated my account Transcripts as Single instead of MFS...I guess no one has a genuine answer to that...I even got IRS advocate to look into this matter and they r even not in any help..so if I were u just upload the transcript and there should e no issue...Mumbai embassy knows that the spouse is still in India and filling status don’t really matter to them ...as long as u can sponsor your spouse ...so no need to panic and enjoy the ride...

So it's ok to send it all as one document? I read all the comments about rejection of things when you send more than they request.. or you have two documents in one attachment.

Oh ok thank you! Actually I have a few questions about bio metrics and such..can I PM you about this? I have questions specific about the process with India.

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

Really? I also  filed as single because that's what the accountant told me. I am freaking out now cause I am about to started the CEAC process.
