I had my interview at the Auckland Consulate yesterday. I was safe to say, a nervous wreck.

But I got it! . I got the visa and I should be in America not even by the end of this month! I waited for 2 hours to be seen and got approved in less than 5 minutes. I have tons of things to prepare that are quite stressful to think about, but I'll be back with my man soon, and it's kind of baffling to think about. Most of my months have been filled with always thinking about paperwork, things I have to arrange like the medical exam, prepping for the interview and now it's just "Get ready to move."

I'm nervous as hell because you know, moving to a new country is a huge thing in itself, but I'm excited more than anything to start a new life with my man. Just had to update you all!

Yay!  It is so funny how fast things move after months of waiting...  my husband flew over shortly after getting his passport back with the visa, and we got married four days later!

Congratulations!  Always reassuring to hear the interview itself isn't very long in Auckland.  I just got my appointment date this morning for 30 May and reading other people's experiences really helps calm my nerves about it.

Same here - I was a nervous wreck going in, and even with all the positive reviews I thought maybe I'd just have some bad luck. Turned out to be the complete opposite of what I thought my experience would be. Very calm place with nice workers there, even the security was nice.

Congratulations....so happy for you  🤩

I was so shocked at how quickly I got approved I blurted out "Wait, so I'm approved?" and the officer interviewing me just grinned and said "Yeah, you got it!" 😂😂

Not too sure yet (need to wait for the visa and my passport in the mail), but hopefully before the 23rd of this month!
