Hello,

I just got off the phone with NVC and they gave me my MNL #. I’m hoping it will be included in the Tuesday shipment. I just want to make sure I’m on the right track here, I can now pay BPI and schedule an interview, right? Or do I wait for it to say Ready on the tracker?

You can pay the fee as mentioned. You can schedule your medical also, but for us, they wanted a copy of the NVC letter with case number, they literally accepted a screen shot of it I had taken as a photo for my husbands. You should, if not already, start getting everything else together. NBI clearance, CENOMAR or CEMAR, birth certificate (suggest several originals ordered), and any other documents they require such as any other police reports from other countries if applicable,

CFO can be scheduled also and even done before the interview, just have to return after to get final stamp/seal once your fiance received the visa.

There is no scheduling of the medical with SLEC. It’s walk-in. You can register online to save some time filling in forms.

You can schedule the interview (Edit: Once CEAC shows READY, as noted below). Just be sure to put it like a month out so that the case is at Manila and ready.

You can pay the visa fee at BPI, but you can't schedule the interview until CEAC status shows READY.

Also, you will need the NVC letter/email to completed the medical at SLEC .. thus why I say calling NVC to get the MNL# doesn't help .. emailing NVC to get your MNL# is the best way to keep things moving forward quickly.

Here is a guide for the complete process for the K-1.

I’ve sent them the email to request for the NVC letter after I got off the phone with them. Will they be able to accommodate that still or will they resort to sending the hard copy because I made that call?

NVC should respond to your email request once your package has shipped.

Did you follow the format they require as noted here:

Unless you choose to use the 'asknvc' online form,  then no specific format required.  Just fill in the blanks.  Easy peasy.

Receiving the email is also a good way to know when your package has shipped  ;)
