My fiance is trying to log onto the https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/ site to review and sign the DS-160 but it won't load on Chrome or Explorer. Any suggestions?

It appears there are issues with the website.  I just tried it with Chrome and it didn't load correctly.    I just now got it to load with Firefox, but even then it doesn't load full screen.

Internet Explorer is obsolete

See if this helps:  https://ceac.state.gov/GENNIV/Help/Content/Recovering an Application after Session Time Out.htm and/or what's below:

  • Use your browser's private or incognito mode.
  • Disable browser plugins.
  • Use only 1 tab when filling out the form.  Do NOT have the form open on multiple tabs.
  • Press "SAVE" every time you finish a page of the form.
  • If the session times out again:
  • Clear browser cookies and cache.
  • Close the browser (not just the tab), wait a minute, re-open browser.
  • Retrieve application and continue filling out the form.

Her issue is not timing out after she gets to the site. Her issue is that it won't load at all and times out. Here is a screenshot of what she is getting:

did it load full screen for you?   The sizing is small .. like for mobile devices.
