driving license

Hi, so I got a driving license and it expires when my EAD expires in August. I have a letter from the USCIS saying that I have an automatic 180 extension if still awaiting my interview for AOS. Does anyone know if the DMV would extend my license thru the 180 days with that letter?

Best bet is to check with your state's DMV.

Please update on what you find out from local DMV.

Your local DMV would normally extend the license for 12 months when you take in your USCIS extension letter (others have done it!)

I suggest waiting until it is almost near expiration in August.

Agree. There is so much variability between the different states' (and even individual licensing agents in a particular office) DMV.
