Depends on the consulate and hospital.  In Taiwan, it takes exactly 2 weeks to have medical results ready........At others, it can be done in a day, I'm told.......

According to your timeline, your fiance's interview is May 16 . . . call Cho Ray or IOM now.  I don't know about IOM, but Cho Ray should be able to arrange something next week.  Cho Ray mailed the result to my wife (and later her son), which took about 4-5 days each time.  They did not mail directly to the consulate, so you want to have enough time for delivery.  Also, plan on time to receive vaccines and have that paper work mailed.  If I remember correctly, Quarantine Services mailed the vaccine paperwork to Cho Ray, which included it with the medical results in the sealed envelope given to the consulate on interview day.

Yes, the household booklet is required at the interview.  Bring the original and a photocopy.  Both will be collected along with other documents on the day of the interview.  The original will be returned after the interview.

Good Luck! - Jason

Depends on the consulate ... in Barbados 48 hours in advance on the day of the interview

I'm guessing he knows that and is the reason why he posted in the regional forum

YMMV

IOM took 3 days to get our results, but we had to schedule like almost 2 weeks out.

April 2, 2019 - Exam day

April 5, 2019 - Picked up our medical results

So IMO  faster than CHO Ray?  And you pick it up versus having it mailed to the consulate?

My wife was asked to provide the interview date and case # so I assume they expect the applicant to schedule the exam after received interview letter.

IOM allowed my wife took her medical exam after 3 days she called in and she got her results back in 2-3 business days. IOM also recommended my wife to take her exam at Cho Ray if she would like to have it done next day (there may be some communication channel between IOM and Cho Ray (?)).

Do your wife had the exam at IOM but they recommend to go to Cho Ray?

She had her at IOM. However, when she scheduled her appointment with IOM, they said she could have scheduled with Cho Ray if she would like to have her exam next day.  My wife lived in Saigon and she had 3 weeks before her interview so no rush.
