Are there non-transferred filers who originally got Potomac/ YSC as their service Center for 1-751 here? Have been trying to get enough timeline information or even spreadsheet for that group here but haven’t seen any.

I'm originally under YSC. I filed on November 14 but my status is still in the receiving end. No biometrics even, but i already received my NOA1 letter.

Same here, we filed late July and got a YSC case number on August 1st 2019. Got the extension letter in the mail a few days later and since then, nothing.  From the looks of things this is not totally abnormal. If one of us gets an appointment letter let's try to remember to come back here and update each other.

Timeline

My extension letter hits 17 months on the 10th Jan. So I called USCIS. Per the customer rep, the PD doesnt mean anything for I751 because it is not a visa. With that said, he didnt tell me how soon or how late will my case be reviewed and processed. Also he told me to call back when I am within a month of 18 months extension expiration to schedule a stamping in my passport for international travels.

My Timeline:

Non-immigration visa:

Arrived in US on F1 Visa in Dec 2008

Graduated and started working on H1B visa in Jan 2012

On H1B visa until July 2015.

Immigration Journey:

Houston Office.

I-485 (Green Card Application):-

Applied for GC : Sept 2015

2 Years GC through marriage : Nov 2016

I751 (ROC) PD : Aug 9, 2018

Case transferred to Potomac from California : June 7, 2019

ROC Bio-metrics : July 8, 2019

Case outside of normal processing time, opened an inquiry : Jan 13, 2020

Case transferred to Houston Office for an interview: Feb 3, 2020

N400 (Citizenship):-

Applied N400 (Three years marriage rule) : Aug 5, 2019 (Pending I751)

N400 Bio-metrics : Aug 29, 2019

Correct me if I am wrong, but you are already outside the 15-17 months processing time for Potomac? Maybe a service request could help your case?

glad I came across your post. I am December filler, and I was curious to see how Potomac handle biometrics, just to make sure what to expect.

It seems like I shouldn't be expecting anything really until October or so this way

Yup, that sounds about right. I'm expecting to wait up to 10ish months to get the biometrics appt. :)

I will be out of normal processing time on or after Jan 10 (tomorrow). Hoping they dont change the estimated time again as they have been extending it every time I plan to open a service request. It was initially 14 to 15 months then 15 to 16 months then 15 to 16.5 months and now its 15 to 17 months. Lets see what it shows tomorrow.

quick random update, I just received my biometrics notice today, about 5 weeks from the PD. And this proves nothing but how random and arbitrary USCIS is. I know the appointment will not really change how my case will be processed but it is insane how a December filler get a biometrics appointment before a July filler for the same SC

Unless you're both in the same city at the same field office I think it's comparing apples to oranges.

I filed in October '19 and today received biometrics appt.

Hmm I didn't realize it wasn't based on the service center. I wonder what's taking them so long to schedule our bio appt...

Any recent developments from 2018 and 2019 filers who have been assigned directly or transferred to Potomac?
