Hi all, so we filed in Aug. 2017, got RFE inn Dec. 2018, responded in Feb. 2109, sent back to Vermont Service Center, now received a letter case has been transferred to another office, uuugghh WHY?, does this sound like we might get set up for interview?  OR has anyone else dealt with this type of scenario, usually when you get RFE, they respond pretty quickly, just want this over already..any advice appreciated!

I am not sure if you know this but you could start applying for naturalization to become a US citizen.  You will probably get the oath ceremony before you even see your new Green Card.  Its called ROC+naturalization combo.  That is if you are wanting to pursue that route.  My cousin went through this long ROC already.  He applied for ROC in October 2017 and got the new green card in December 2018.

It could be that, or it could be that USCIS is transferring cases to balance the workloads. Like others said, are you eligible to file for the N-400. File it, force their hands.

It's because you are at the black ho;es of all Service Centers Vermont. Usually most get sent there because of security checks and such.

I would file the naturalization now. You could have filed August 2018 and probably been worn in by now. Or you can just wait and see.
