Interview scheduled notification - November 12th (via email - waiting to receive letter in mail for actual Interview date)

Interview completed & Case approved - November 17th

 

Naturalization Ceremony (in January 2020 - waiting on notice)

Bonjour March 2019 Filers!

 

My husband just submitted his N400 application today, so could we please be added to the list?  Our service center is Dallas, Texas and our local field office is in Charlotte, NC.  We don't have any other pending applications, as our i-751 was approved last year in August.  I look forward to going on this journey with you all!  Fingers crossed for all of us for a speedy process 😃

I read couple NC cases which were scheduled for  N-400 interview in less than 2 month. You guys are in luck - thanks to local office. 

N-400 Application Timeline :

Just done biometrics today 3/25/19, my estimated case completion time change from July 2020 (16months) to May 2020 (14months) I hope it won’t take that long before I get a schedule for interview

Hi everyone, I'm filling out my n400 online, but I'm facing a slight problem. The form asks when my husband was naturalized and he lost his naturalization document, so we don't know when the exact date is and the online form does not let u put an estimation, it asks for an exact date. Has anyone faced such a problem and what did you do? How did u solve it?

I put a random date for day and month, i think we got the year right. But i don't want to jeopardize the application for such a minor thing.

Any suugestions or experience in the above issue?!

I was naturalized by birth, so no experience in this issue, but I highly recommend finding the original date - you can order your birth certificates by simply looking up the county information, so I’m sure you can order a certified copy of the naturalization certificate as well. It will cost money but it’s better than jeopardizing your > $700 app!
