Can you use a debit card on Skyscanner? Philippines Airlines said if I purchase a ticket through the airline they only accept credit cards and will not accept a debit card?

Most debit card have both functions; ATM & CC.   I know mine do.

That's what I figured. Think the lady on the phone did not understand what I was asking. Thanks

When you talk to them you say my Master/Visa CC number is ... there should be the 3 digit code on the back.

I spoke to a Delta supervisor today and was told to avoid any problems for my fiance (since I purchased the ticket with my CC and she is not an authorized signer/doesn't have the credit card) I need to go to the Delta ticketing desk at the airport and have my credit card verified. They will make a notation on her reservation that the card has been verified and she will not be asked to show it. Let's hope it works that way.

Guess where I am headed tonight? We have done everything else by the book on this journey so I decided why stop now when we are so close. Pain in the rear but oh well.

I've got that song stuck in my head "the things we do for love."

Have a card issued in her name if time, as an authorized user hers will have the same number

Exactly what I did even before we were "engaged".  But she was never asked for it flying from NAIA on 4 or 5 flights on Cebu Pacific or Cathay.

But I got asked for mine on Air Asia.   Crazy place.

Come to think of it, every plane ticket I have ever purchased I used PayPal.

Mission accomplished at the airport. The crazy thing is I used a Delta Skymiles AMEX card so I can accrue the miles. And I opened a Skymiles frequent flyer account for her so she can start accumulating FF miles. So the flight was pretty much all linked to the airline.

She may have never been asked to present the credit card but I didn't want to take the chance. We are sooo close. She arrives Friday!

Just a FYI , Delta no longer has a SkyLounge in NAIA and you can't use your Amex to enter whomever is running the affilitated Skylounge, they only take Visa/MasterCard.  Just a FYI in case you or her decide to go there, I always stop there and eat and have a few drinks before flying out and the food is usually pretty good there compared to any US based Delta SkyLounges

They will take cash for entry

Just when you think you have TDS eradicate,  a new case shows up.
