Passport Photos

Hi Everyone! 

 

My fiance emailed me his passport photo, however when Im looking at CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, etc. all these places only do prints as 2x3 not the standard 2x2 of a passport. Any advice on where I can get this done ( I do not have a printer nor do I have access to one that will print out pictures on photo paper)

Take in on USB and ask nicely and they will cut them to 2x2.  You can also cut it yourself.

 

I have a cutter I bought on eBAY but I do a lot of passport work.

Walmart definitely will make a pair of 2x2 passport-style prints for $8; that's what I did with the image file Anastasia sent me for our K-1 petition.

Hmm, I remember that my fiance and I took 2x2 passport pictures at Walgreens last summer. This was in Connecticut, so maybe it depends on the state? Idk. However, I think there is also free software online that can assist you to make passport pictures on your own. Wouldn't recommend it though, if you are in a hurry, because I would assume that it might take more than one attempt to make a good passport photo that meets all the requirements.

 

Printing pictures in general should be possible at the shops you mentioned.

I did it at RiteAid, but they also took my pic (wouldn't recommend lol, they got accepted by USCIS but the quality was pretty poor) I know that Costo does passport pics for $5 or so, but idk if all this is if you get your picture taken. You could try these 2 places

That's odd that they'd size them as 2x3. I go to Costco and get them cheaper than anywhere else and they're the correct size and good quality. Second best option is Walmart. I used to get them free with my AAA membership at the local office but they've started charging for them so I now go to Costco because it's cheaper.
