Nerdette and Fauth II are from March. This is just not fair!! Why in the hell can't these people just release our approvals! Why wouldn't you finish something you have already started. NOT JUST KEEP IT SITTING and KEEP US WAITING!! I can't stand USCIS!!!:angry:

The Vjer you are thinking of is LvivLovers. They wrote it on the petition several times and on the cover letter. It was easily ignored by USCIS. Nobody has reported that "clearly indicating" has worked for them here on VJ.

Thanks Urge, there are so many threads that sometimes I forget exactly who said what :)

so how many are left hanging now?? (My Honey is the only other one?? how about nerdette??)

I believe the oldest petitions are Nerdette and Faith11, then there is MelissaHassan and My Honey, jrmach1, Andrew_Soriya and then yourself. I am keeping you all in my thoughts and hoping for the quickest resolution for all of you.

*Unless you didn’t mark clearly (on envelope when sending I -130) that you want consular rout, to avoid waiting your option is continuing K3.

In my time on this forum, I don't remember seeing anyone actually say that marking the envelope/cover letter etc with "consular processing" has worked.

I do know of at least one person on this forum (can't remember their forum name though, but I believe they were a March filer) who put as clearly as humanly possibly that they wanted consular processing on the I130, only to have the USCIS completely ignore this and send on only the K3.

So marking the I130 with consular processing is not 100% effective at getting both forms sent on to the NVC :(

can I ask you, what time did you get your approval yesterday? I applied my case on 12. June, but I haven't get no answer until now. :(

did you get first an email or you saw your case online?

thnaks!

I wish for you good luck ...

amoro

I called USCIS yesterday and got a woman who said, "they don't process the I-129f and I-130 together, you'll just have to wait", and said that they're currently processing applications from April hahaha....called today and a lovely young lady named Jessica sent an inquiry on my behalf concerning the possible separation of petitions. The only downside is the standard "response in 60 days" line they give everyone. However, today was the first time I felt that someone actually helped me at USCIS. She agreed that it was strange that my I-130 was approved before the I-129f, because usually it's together or the other way around....especially since I sent both petitions in at the same time. There is still hope!

Thanks guys for verifications of my advices. Like many of us I know only that what I’ve read on VJ so sometimes I'm lost. Congratulations for he&she. God luck for everyone.

BTW In what order do you think USCIS is going? I was checking timelines by sent dates both I-130, I-129, and by NOAs but I can’t tell. Also it is something new that they process petitions separately.

Also it is something new that they process petitions separately.

From what I understand, each petition is processed separately but the I-130 and I-129f (K3) have a recent trend of being "attached", or to say approved at the same time. It's possible for one to be approved and the other continue in processing, but when that happens it's usually the I-129f that gets processed faster than the I-130. My situation, along with YGandMAT's situation, is rather unique in that I'm one of the first people to have sent in both petitions at the same times just as the rules changed (at least from what I've seen on VJ), and there was a 5 day difference in NOA1 receipt dates between the two petitions. However, some people with later I-129f petition dates than mine have been approved, but only because their I-130 was sent in earlier than mine (they sent in the two petitions separately). Logically my I-130 shouldn't be approved yet, and my I-129f should be approved. So.....who knows? We shall see soon!

Thanks My Honey. I have emailed them twice already and of course I have heard nothing from them. My lawyer has also emailed them and has not received a reply from them either. I don't know what is going on! :crying: I'm thinking about calling them again and who knows maybe someone can give me a straight answer. Hassan and I had to spend our 1 year anniversary apart from eachother. :( Hopefully we will hear some good news and we will be reunited again soon inshallah. :luv:

same here ... no touches... maybe we are all under "security checks"... I faxed over to 7 of my state's congressmen/women and also one of California's senators... hopefully I will hear something in a month or two regarding this situation.. I signed their "privacy" form and faxed my letter to them also... well, at least try to have a nice holiday (Monday is a holiday for us).. :innocent: maybe that's why the USCIS people aren't working...

just be strong and stay positive.. I read a topic on visajourney where the two people divorced and went their separate ways because the visa journey took too long (over 2 years already)... you can't let USCIS decide who you are and want to be with.. Love will conquer everything... your love for each other will make this journey better, and when you are finally together, it will make your relationship and family stronger..
