Yea I wrote N/A for both. I am wondering if I should call USCIS and correct it or should I just wait?

So I was reading another topic and I realised I might have made a mistake with my 130 submission. For question number 22, the form asks "Complete the information below if your relative is in the USA and will apply for adjustment of status". I put N/A for all the blanks since the question asked for if the relative is in the USA.

What should I do? Should I call USCIS and ask them? Anyone else make a similar mistake? I don't want this to cause a problem. I have beating myself all morning since I have seen this other topic.

Just so mad at myself, for doing such a stupid mistake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

Hi Raj..

Sorry to hear about your I-130 issue but reading your post I was kinda compelled to ask this question, partly to clarify and since even I wrote "N/A" in the first part of the question where its asking for a U.S. City and State. Do you mean you wrote "N/A' in the second part too where its asking for an Indian embassy city and the Indian state, like in my case I wrote "Mumbai" and "India" there..

Sorry if this is a naive and a stupid question and I may be missing something here but I just wanted to check this for my I-130 since when I filled my wife's I-130 I hadn't known about VJ and I just filled the form as best as I could after reading the instructions on USCIS...

tc and good luck... and I hope everything works out for you...

I am assuming all this happened but now since your 129F NOA is almost 2 months old

Congrats KevFabi. I am glad you waited.

I just saw my timeline.. they have added 15 more days on my I129 :crying:..whatz going onnnnn...

ASM

To put it simply, the aprroval times for VJ members are taking longer. This increases the average, medium, and mean, which increases the average estimated approval of your I-129F.

Since each petition has its own timeline, this may or may not effect you.

Naturalization

3/23/14 - N400 package sent to Phoenix

3/27/14 - N400 package delivered

4/3/14 - NOA1 receipt date

4/4/14 - check cashed

04/29/14 - biometrics date

07/01/14 - interview date

So today I get another email today saying that my 129 has been transferred to VT. What the heck is USCIS doing? Wasted a week in this whole mess of transferring my file, only if they read the 130 NOA1, they could have seen that I mailed the 130 to VT and they would have sent my 129 to VT the first time. Just so so frustrating.

I hate it when VJ doesn't let you edit your post.. anyways I also had this to add:

On a separate note, my VJ timeline for my wife's I-129F(K3) adjudication just went from mid-August --> September --> October 30th and I m sure it will be December (or worse) in no time if USCIS keep on working (or NOT) the same way they have been recently... I have been tracking the March/April filers thread and its way too scary and depressing when I think about how long it will take for our petition to get processed based upon the rate USCIS have been working up until recently...

Good Luck to all of us..

pkewl

Yep, they made a mistake sending the I129F to CSC, they want the 2 petitions together. It seems odd to me that they split yours. But cheer up, your at the faster service center. You will probably get approved before all the March, April, May filers waiting at CSC.

here's a totally stupid question, what does bump mean?

Bump means to move the thread back to the top of the forum so it is not on the second or third pages of threads.

To The Top (TTT) is another expression for bumping a thread.
