My oath ceremony is scheduled on Feb 20. According to news there's possibility of another shutdown on Feb 15. Will this affect the oath ceremony? I know that uscis is mostly not affected, but my ceremony will be in a public library. Anyone has experience from the last gov shutdown? Thank you.

If the oath ceremony is meant to take place in a federal building then it's possible it could affect it. If in a standalone USCIS office or non-federal building then there should be no issue.

Thanks Hypnos. I think the central library in Indianapolis belongs to the state and not federal. Hoping it will still go on.

Fractalina I have my interview tomorrow. I live in indiana. I just checked your timeline and realised you did your interview in Dec, just wondering if it takes 2 months from interview to oath ceremony in indiana.

The officer who interviewed me said it's usually 45-90 days til you hear from them after the interview. I think there's 2 ceremony in a month. I've seen people's timeline where it took only a month. I think mine was kinda affected by the shutdown because I got my oath notification right after the shutdown was over.

I had my interview today. It went well. The officer told me I passed my interview but she can’t make a decision at that moment because I had a pending I-751. Actually had a combo interview N400 and removal of condition. My question is how long did you get a response after interview, the officer told me it takes up to 90 days like you said.

My officer had my i751 application on his hand so we went through that before the n400 interview. It was both approved on the spot, so the status case online also changed right away. What he said to be 45-90 days are how long it would take to get an oath ceremony schedule and to get the notification on the mail. Hopefully you get yours quick.

Alright thanks for clarifying.
