How long until case created?

Hey guys! Our case was received by the NVC on Jan 7th, but still no instructions or letter sent to either my husband or myself. I called the NVC on Jan 10th and they said they were backlogged. And to expect to get our case created within their system for another month. Has anyone else found the wait time to be this long? Or should I call again?

Thanks!

Jeez, must be really backlogged. Typically only takes a week or two for them to create the case based on my former lawyers advice. Oh well that’s good to know. Will wait it out then ☺️
