Hi everyone! I had my interview yesterday and was APPROVED!!!!!  ☺️

The interview went awesome, so much better than I expected it to.

My interview was scheduled for 11.30, at 11.33 an Immigration officer came to get me and took me to his office. He introduced himself and asked me how I was today, I replied with ok, but really nervous. He said please don't be nervous, I'm not here to interrogate you. He asked me to take out my passport and green card and apologised as he would be talking to me, but mainly looking at the computer screen. There was one small problem he had to sort out with my case, when I had entered the US one time, they had two different identities listed for me. He said it was their problem, not mine and he would sort it out after my interview.  He then asked if I'd changed my name in a court,  replied no and said is it about the second middle name I left off? I explained there was never enough room on forms to put it, but he could add it. He filled out a form to change my name on the application (not a problem).

I was asked to put both my index fingers on a scanner. He then read some of my details off the form on the computer, name, phone number, address etc. He then asked me to write "The flag is red white and blue", then he asked the test questions:

What is the highest court?

Who is the chief Justice?

What was Abraham Lincoln most famous for?

What is the longest river in America?

Who was the father of our country?

What was the first 10 amendments called?

I got all 6 right, so he didn't ask anymore questions. He told me I'd passed the test! He then went through all my answers on the form and asked if I understood the oath. I replied yes. He explained it again as I can keep dual nationality.  We chatted about England and how he loved the food there. Then he told me I was approved! It took 43 minutes (would have been less, but we chatted!)

All in all, a very positive experience and a lovely immigration officer.

Congrats! Was it at Louisville office?
