Did you submit the financials to NVC?  Did they request the co-sponsor?  I'm surprised it went to case complete without them requesting the co-sponsor.  I would bring the I-864 and the co-sponsor's info to the interview on the 20th.  Good luck!

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

I think you are misinterpreting NVC's message.  Sounds like the standard message you get when using assets to supplement or replace income for qualification.  You may or may not need a "Joint Sponsor".  Take their affidavit, supporting documentation and evidence of US Citizenship or LPR status to the interview but do not hand it over unless it is required.
