flights back together?

my fiance's visa interview will be scheduled before may 18th 2019. i will of course buy a round trip ticket to VN and then back to the US. but if my fiance's interview goes good. how can i book my fiance's flight where we fly back on the same plane? please help. thank you.

When I did this I bought a one way ticket to the Philippines and a one way ticket from the Philippines for both of us to the USA.

Another option is:

 

1.  After you arrive in VN, cancel your homeward leg of the RT you already have.

2.  Purchase 2 one-way trips to US.

I just called the Airlines once we had Visa in hand, I used Delta and I let them work out the details...…...

i actually found out you can purchase  one way tickets. i always thought it had to be round trip if you are flying interrnational. thanks guys

Depends on the country of Destination from USA from what I have found, Some want to see a ticket onwards after entering their country

Some countries require you have an onward ticket or a round trip when entering to visit.......as evidence that you don't intend to stay in their country.  Of course, you can purchase a one-way ticket back home....

At the time the company I was with had paid for my ticket to the Philippines. My fiancé not wife already had her visa so I had already bought tickets online for later in the month to fly out. So I just had that paperwork with me as well to show them.
