:crying:  my fiancé checked status today, it says it returned to NVC. Since sep 6 2019 it said refused but on 221(g) it said under admin process, we don't know reason it was refused and when connected consulate few times they said we are working on it you will get email or SMS neither of those happened. I think I am out luck here.

Not sure what to do next get married and file for CR1 or try to contact my local congressman? I am in Indiana. :help:

What would the congressperson do?  If it was returned to NVC then you were deemed ineligible for the visa, and congress does not intervene in such consular decisions.
