Cuba as a communist country is unpredictable ... everything is based on money ..... money to obtain them ... money to certify them ... send them to US and I will make certified translations and send them to ... but we are going half way ... thanks for answering ..... with Cuba everything is very difficult

Thank you for sharing your knowledge of Cuba. May I offer an answer to your question now that I know a little more of what you are facing.

What is meant by these statements:

1. send them to US and I will make certified translations and send them to ...

2. but we are going half way

When you ask for help it's best to spell out your situation so others will understand then ask your questions. In return we will lay out the answer and when possible give you a link to the information if you want to read more.

They other thing that I am confused about is you are in a sub-forum for those who are interviewing in India. Do you have a connection to India and therefor you are asking here and not in your own embassy sum-forum?

221(g) Procedure and Submission

The U.S. Embassy may issue a "221(g)" letter directing you to submit additional documents or information related to your visa application. Your application will be kept on hold at the Embassy until such a time as you submit those documents.

All additional documents and information asked for by the Embassy in a 221(g) letter should be submitted at the nearest courier location within one year from the date the 221(g) letter was given to you. Failure to submit the required information within one year will result in the suspension of the application and a new application (and all associated fees) would be required in order to continue the application process.

Absolutely!

We read over the piece of paper that was given to us and we gathered everything we could. I had photos, Facebook posts, messages and call logs, all wedding plans and receipts (dress, cake, venue, link to wedding website), and financial transaction for W.U or Money Gram, and notarized letters showing intent to marry.

Anything that was listed and we didn’t have i.e wedding rings we explained why on a list of documents

06/30/19 - Wedding Day!!

07/17/19 - AOS Packet Mailed

07/19/19 - AOS Received

07/24/19 - NOA1 Date

08/16/19 - Biometric Appt.

09/25/19 - Interview Ready to be Scheduled

10/16/19 - Interview was Scheduled

12/05/19 - Interview Day

Thanks so much! Just a follow up, I have given my fiance roughly 60 pages of evidence, in 5 different sets:

1. i134 and supporting documents,

2. proof of relationship (like chat screenshots, call logs, photos, my india air travel and passport stamps)

3. wedding plan (just the court marriage plan written out, and reception hall rental agreement)

4. fresh letters of intent

anything else you can think that i might need? also, does the consulate at least take a quick glance at all the documents? and if you're asked a question for which one the documents is evidence, can you answer it and point to the document? thank you in advance!

Yes a truck to transport your documents.  Way over kill.

Not at all. They at best have 5-10 min tops to interview you. More only if you have a troublesome case.

and if you're asked a question for which one the documents is evidence, can you answer it and point to the document?

Interaction with a CO in an interview is a two way street so asking is fine but they don't want a conversation like a if your were best

@Creamy as Tara said take everything with you but there’s no guarantee they will look into it. I had already submitted all docs except wedding plans while I sent I-129 application but when they gave us 221g they asked for them again. So we resubmitted everything that was already provided. I really do believe it depends on the CO how the day goes no matter what documents you provide prior to or on that day. Best wishes for a smooth interview

My fiance in India just received, again, a copy of the approved 129F petition and the same cover letter with instructions on how to schedule an interview and what to bring. We already have scheduled the interview. We received this the first time around a month ago. Anything worth reading into this?

Yes. There must be someone at the embassy that is new and hasn't quite mastered the process as of yet. Nothing to be concerned about.
