Best place to get married in Los Angeles area(marriage Certificate wait times)

Does anyone know the best place to get married in the surrounding Los Angeles area? I've been doing research and hearing that it takes a while(up to 10 weeks) to get your marriage certificate if you get married in Los Angeles County. Does anyone know if getting married in Orange County or Riverside county have a faster process in obtaining your marriage certificate?  I don't want to get married in LA county and then end up having to wait that long for the marriage certificate.

Thanks in advance.

When I contacted the Riverside County Clerk's office (we're probably getting married in Riverside county), they said 2-3 weeks after marriage. And will take walk-ins for a civil ceremony at most locations (though you'll need to bring a witness). I didn't check in Orange, though the fees are lower there if that matters much too you.

Not trying to be cheap, but Orange County is less expensive and much more eloquent as it's a historic courthouse. They have three different places in orange county  to choose from. I married at the court house and was able to get a certified copy in two days, albeit I hear it takes about week on average.  If you're a 90 Day Fiancee viewer, jorge and anissa tied the knot there.

Thanks in advance.

I got married in Los Angeles, did take about 4 weeks for it to be ready for print at the office, and an additional week for it to arrive in the mail. My friend got married in Sacramento and got a certified recorded copy same day!!! I didn't know other surrounding areas were faster, or I would have done it at another county, if you can wait 4-5 weeks then do it local, if not go somewhere else its worth the drive.

We got married in Ventura county, I don’t know if you can use it, but we got 4 certified copies the same day we registered. It’s about 1 and a half hour from Los angeles

Did you have to return your marriage license after the civil ceremony to the OC clerk recorder and file a request for a copy? The lady on the phone told

me that we have to make a request to get a copy after our wedding

Anna, we did the civil ceremony and license all at once...there was need to return license after getting married. I requested a certified copy at the same time applying /civil ceremony.

We did Ventura County. All you need to do is set up an appointment in advance. You get your marriage certificate right after the ceremony.
