Filing for Fiance Who's Active in Foreign Military Force

My boyfriend is an active member of his country's military. We want to get married but don't know the process of the K1 visa with the attachment of military terms.

Will he be required to fulfill the remainder of his contract or is there a term in the K1 process that can dissolve it?

He has 2 more years there.

To the best of my knowledge there is no "early out" due to a pending immigration matter

YMMV

Oh okay..So the expedition in the process isn't an option then

Expediting is rare, and it doesn't apply to a foreign military. It only applies for US military members who are about to be deployed for instance.

If your foreign fiance has a two years remaining in service, unless they find a way out of it, the US and immigration part can't help them.

Some countries have "required" military service and this can not be waived by the US/pending immigration stuff.

The process to immigrate to the US does not excuse anyone from foreign military service.  The US does not have that power over the armed forces of other countries.

Absolutely  no provision for early out due to K1 proceedings. I would suggest that you don't even file until after his active duty commitments are satisfied. I am assuming since your boyfriend is the beneficiary and the foreign military member that opens a whole new set of obstacles for ANY immigration process. Better to wait until he is free from his obligation first.
